Has anyone set this up please?
We believe that it could add some 20% to the donations made to our village hall, recoverable from HMRC. Could it also apply to any of our normal income?
    Many thanks.

It will be worth looking at the Institute of Fundraising website dedicated to Gift Aid - it has lots of information

We used Gift Aid - it is extremely easy and the IR are very helpful. Just remember to keep lots of accurate records and perhaps set up a standard form for regular users of the hall to sign indicating their willingness to take part in the scheme.. My understanding is that it can only be used for charitable donations and fundraising events. We do not claim Gift Aid for our day to day activities
